Here at Corpus Christi, students in Grade 1 – Grade 6 participate in engaging and interactive termly live-streamed Inform and Empower incursions that focus on topics such as:
- Digital Literacy
- Healthy Digital Habits
- Critical Thinking
- Cyberbullying
- Online Security
- Upstanders
- Help-seeking
- Consent
- Artificial Intelligence
Parents are given an overview of each session to help open up important conversations at home.
Parents are given the opportunity to attend a yearly seminar.
The 90 minute Raising Kids in a Digital World seminar shares evidence-based strategies as well as practical tips and up-to-date insights. Our parent community is empowered with current research and knowledge as well as the tools, skills and mindset they need to support their children as they navigate the online world.
Martin and Carley explore a range of topics including:
- Social media
- Impacts of screen time
- Online gaming
- Cyberbullying
- Child/tween online trends
- Explicit/adult content
- Mentor parenting
- Family communication
- Parental controls
